URBANA believes strongly in the reuse of existing structures where feasible and structurally possible. Reusing or recycling existing buildings offers many options to the client, from government tax credits to special incentives within the local jurisdiction to favorable consideration from the surrounding neighborhoods. In addition, the client can preserve a bit of history and at the same time incorporate new design and construction to make the project unique to their vision and needs. URBANA works with the client from the initial feasibility study, to measuring and evaluating existing conditions, master planning, rezoning, neighborhood meetings, construction documents through construction, to space planning and tenant upfits for individual spaces.
